סקר באתר

לפני התקנת מערכת יש לערוך סקר מפורט של האתר בו תותקן המערכת , בבדיקה יש לכסות את כל הגורמים המשפיעים על כיבוי האש כמו נפח החדר, פתחים, גופים גדולים במרכז החלל, מערכות אוורור וכל דבר העלול להפריע לזרימת חומר הכיבוי בחלל החדר.

יש לתעד כל פרט בתיק הלקוח על מנת לדעת על שינויים שיעשו בעתיד בחלל.

1. סוג החלל המוגן – יש לתאר בקצרה את סוג החלל המוגן וגדלו.
2. סוג אזור ההתקנה – באזורים קורוזיביים במיוחד כגון מחסני דלקים, כימיקלים או גז העלולים להזיק למערכת גילוי האש יש להתקינה באזור אחר.
3. סוג השריפה הפוטנציאלית – יש לוודא שסוגי השריפה העלולים לפרוץ, מתאימים ליכולת הכיבוי של מחולל .GX
4. מערכות אוורור – מערכת האוורור בחלל המוגן חייבת להסגר אוטומטית עם קבלת אתרעת אש והפעלת כיבוי.
5. רשת החשמל – מומלץ שכל מערכת החשמל הקשורה לחלל המוגן תנותק אוטומטית עם קבלת אתרעת אש והפעלת כיבוי, על מנת למנוע הצתה חוזרת של האש לאחר כיבויה.
6. טמפרטורת הסביבה – טמפרטורת הסביבה שבה מותקנים מיכלי הכיבוי יכולה לנוע בין : 40 C 0 60 – C – ל 0 + מעלות.
   שים לב – טמפרטורת העבודה של רוב הגלאים היא שונה ויש לקחתה בחשבון.

Inspecting the site and defining risk

Site survey

Prior to installing the system, a detailed survey should be carried out of the site where the system is to be installed. The survey must cover all of the elements that affect fire-extinguishing, such as: room volume, openings, large objects in the middle of the room, ventilation systems, and any other thing that might impede the extinguishing agent’ flow through the room.

Every detail should be noted in the customer file, in order to be aware of subsequent changes to the space.

1. Type of protected space – briefly describe the type and size of protected space.
2. Type of installation area – in especially corrosive areas such as fuel, chemical, or gas storerooms, which might damage the fire detection system, the system should be installed elsewhere.
3. Type of potential fire – ensure that the types of fire that might break out are compatible with the GX generator’s extinguishing power.
4. Ventilation system – the ventilation system in the protected space must shut off automatically when a fire alert is received and extinguishing is activated.
5. Electrical grid – it is advisable that the entire electrical system connected to the protected space shall be automatically disconnected when a fire alert is received and extinguishing is activated, in order to prevent re-ignition of the fire after it has been extinguished.
6. Ambient temperature – the ambient temperature in which the extinguishing tanks are installed can be between -40°C and +60°C.
   NOTE: the operating temperature of most detectors varies, and should be taken into consideration.
7. Additional factors affecting system planning – Fire Department and Standards Institute guidelines should be observed in regard to the installation location of the system’s devices as a whole.
